Das amerikanische Label MB999 stellt uns die neue Fall/Winter 2011 Collection vor. Wie man wohl schwer erkennen kann, dreht sich die neue Kollektion um das Thema Bad Guys, markante Models und hartwirkende Kleidung. Inspiriert haben sich die Designer Sean Michael & Peter Ursich an der 1960er Biker Szene. Die Kollektion besteht überwiegend aus dunklen Farben, so finden wir viel Schwarz, Grau und Olivtöne. Enge Schnitte und rockige Lederoutfits übermitteln den Beat der 60er Straßen. Fazit: Eine abwechslungsreiche Kollektion, mit der man ab und zu sein alltägliches Outfit gewaltig aufpeppen könnte.

Sean Michael & Peter Ursich by Glenn Campbell for MB999 Fall/Winter 2011: “For Fall/Winter 2011, my vision unites the “ultimate” radical groups of the 1960’s – The “Beat” writers: Allen Ginsberg, Ken Kesey and Hunter S Thompson, in an infusion with the Hell’s Angels. The collection is titled “Further” in tribute to the legendary Prankster Bus. The clothes are expressive of anti-establishment and freedom. My goal is to have a look that flows between Biker Rebel and Day Tripper with infinite possibilities of perception. This season’s color palette incorporates acid green, bleeding into the signature grey and black landscape.”
