Das französische Label mit den Wurzeln im Tennis überzeugt sonst mit Sneakers und dezenter Casual-Kollektionen, ein derber Wanderstiefel ist jedoch Neuland. Aber diesen Stiefel haben die Franzosen toll hinbekommen. Der Stiefel erinnert an Red Wings, ist jedoch nicht so derb. Das Echtleder-Obermaterial, die abgesetzten Nähte, die tollen roten Schnürsenkel und die typisch weisse Sohle ergeben ein durch und durch stimmiges Bild ab. Das Krokodil fand seinen Weg an die Außenseite des Schaftes.
Lacoste is in a change. One sign für this, is the introduction of a hiking boot. The french label with its tennis roots, convinces us normally with sneakers and straight casual collections. A robust hiking boot seems like somethung new. But the frenchmen made it great. The boot reminds me of red wings, but not that massive. The leather mid boot, the contrast stitching, the awesome red laces and the typical white sole result in a harmonious mix. The crocodile found its way to the side of the shaft.
