Nachdem wir vor kurzem die Spring/Summer 2012 SLVR Kollektion aus dem Hause Adidas präsentiert haben ist es heute Zeit für eine weitere Marke des Sportswear-Herstellers. Die Rede ist von Y-3. Zusammen mit dem japanischen Modedesiger Yohji Yamamoto entsteht Saison für Saison eine Kollektion die weit mehr als Mode ist. Auch dieses Mal werden Fans nicht enttäuscht. Die Kampagne von Collier Schorr greift die Atmosphäre der brasilianischen Hauptstadt Brasilia auf und vereint sie künstlerisch mit den avantgardistischen Schnitten Yamamotos. Die verlassenen Betonruinen erinnern an Endzeitszenarien der Zukunft. Der minimalistische Stil der Kollektion kommt so perfekt zu Geltung. Den Mood-Film und Bilder findet ihr wie gewohnt unten.

After having presented the Spring/Summer 2012 SLVR Collection from Adidas, we’re now back with another brand of the German sportswear label with the three stripes. Today it’s all about Y-3. Together with Japanese fashion designer Yohji Yamamoto, Y-3 stands for unique collections which are far more than just fashion. After having seen the latest campaign for their Spring/Summer 2012 Collection you’ll know what we mean. The campaing by Collier Schorr is inspired by the Brazilian capital Brasilia. The city’s rough atmosphere is combined with the avant-garde styles. The outcome is a campaign that reminds us a bit of future apocalyptic scenarios and is definitely worth seeing it. Bei der diesjährigen Pitti Uomo in Florenz wurde vom Label 10A ein  multidisziplinärer Event organisiert. Dieser sollte die Marke mit den Disziplinen Musik, Mode und Design dem Publikum näherbringen. Die Mode richtet sich an den modernen Dandy. In voller Übereinstimmung mit der DNA der Marke, sind Ikonen wie Fred Astaire oder Cary Grant als Inspirationen genutzt worden. Dies sorgt dafür, dass sich die Fall/Winter 2012 zwischen Casual- und Formalwear angesiedelt hat. Die Socken stammen von Marcoliani und fügen sich perfekt in das Konzept der Kollektion ein. The Label 10A launched a multidisciplinary event at this years Pitti Uomo in Florence. The event should present the label with music, fasion and design tot he audience. The fashion is made for modern dandies. Icons like Fred Astaire and Cary Grant were chosen as inspirations to fit the brands DNA to 100 percent. The collection is known to be right between casual and formal wear. The socks are from Marcoliani and are a perfect addition for the collection. Das schwedische Label Tiger of Sweden, ist inzwischen ja kein Unbekanntes mehr und hat sich mit einem individuelle Style längst einen Namen gemacht. Aus diesem Grund wollen wir euch auch erstes Bildmaterial ihrer Herbst/Winter 2012 Kollektion nicht vorenthalten. Hauptthema der im Rahmen der Stockholmer Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week vorgestellten Kollektion ist „New Heroes“. Dabei wird die kontrastierende Wirkung der Hauptstädte Berlin und Stockholm thematisiert, die sich in Berlins lebhafter Untergrundkultur und den schwedischen Minimalisten wiederfinden lässt. Farblich werden dazu dezente Töne mit knalligen Akzenten kombiniert. Auch die Schnitte sind sehr variabel und reichen von weich bis rau. Tiger of Sweden is one of these labels, which became quite big in the last few years. The Swedish label, known for individual style, delights us and their fans with some impressions of their upcoming Fall/Winter 2012 Collection. The collection was presented during the Stockholm Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week and is called “New Heroes”. Main topic is the contrasting effect between the subcultures of Stockholm and Berlin. Berlin’s vibrant underground and Stockholm’s minimalistic lifestyle are used to create this collection. Out comes a color palette offering subtle tones combined with bright accents. The cuts are mixed, ranging from soft to rough. Overall the style can be described as relaxed, that still embodies a certain elegance. Just take a look on the images below.

Der holländische Denim Store Tenue de Nîmes schickt uns immer wieder die neusten Trends & Kollaborationen aus der Denim-Welt. Dieses Mal nahmen sie sich die traditionelle japanische Jeansmarke High John zur Seite und entwickelten gemeinsam eine limitierte Edition von Natural Indigo Denim Jeans. Diese sind an das alte japanische Jeansdesign aus den 1967er Jahren angelehnt und überwältigen den Träger mit einem sehr gutem Schnitt und einem atemberaubendem Blau. Die Jeans bekommt ihr im Online-Store für 219€.

Dutch denim store Tenue de Nîmes and Japan’s oldest jeans brand Big John have teamed up for a limited edition natural indigo denim. The ‘slim-tapered’ collaboration refers to the legendary Big John M1002 from 1967 made from a 14.5 oz jeans fabric. By reducing the dyeing of the Kaihara fabric by 25%, the factory emphasized the traditional bright blue color that is referred to in Japanese as ‘Ruri’. The blue color is considered one of the seven treasures of Buddhism. The yellow selvage is a tribute to the traditional 1960′s fabric made by Cone Mills. You’ll get one for 219€, but hurry up, there are just 24 pairs available. Nach der avantgardistischen SLVR Sportswear gestern, präsentieren wir euch heute wieder sportlichere Styles aus dem Hause Nike. Die neue Spring 2012 Kollektion konzentriert sich dabei auf die drei, von Nike abgedeckten, Kern-Sportarten Running, Fußball und Basketball. Die Kollektion greift dazu den Esprit der einzelnen Sportarten auf und übersetzt ihn in diese lässigen Streetwear-Styles. So lassen beispielsweise die Running-Styles Laufkulturen seit 1977 wieder aufleben. In der Fußball Kollektion stehen die goldenen Jahre der brasilianischen Nationalmannschaft im Zentrum, aber auch die von Nike gesponserten Mannschaften aus Barcelona, Manchester und Mailand werden berücksichtigt. After having presented the very avant-garde SLVR Collection yesterday, it’s now time for some more sporty styles from Nike. The brand new Spring 2012 Collection concentrates on the three core-sports from Nike: Running, Football and Basketball. The collection takes inspiration from the spirit of these sports and translates it into casual sportswear styles. The running styles for example try to revive running cultures that developed since 1977. For the football collection it’s all about the golden era of the Brazilian national team. One of the coolest style icons of the modern time is back with Scandinavia’s fashion giant. The megatrailer catched David to create a pretty cool underwear collection. The HM & David Beckham Bodywear Collection is an excellent round up for every man’s wardrobe. H&M unveils their bodywear collection in over 1800 stores. You’ll get an item for around 15 €. Eine weitere Kollektion die uns fasziniert hat ist die Frühjahr/Sommer Kollektion von Adidas SLVR. Unter diesem Label veröffentlicht Adidas immer wieder avantgardistische Kollektionen, bei denen die Wurzeln in der Sportswear dennoch erkennbar bleiben. Die aktuelle Kampagene wurde dabei von Willy Vanderperre fotografiert, wobei Inspiration aus dem Fechtsport generiert wird. Die für den Sport typische Präzesion und Eleganz mischt der Fotograf mit bunten Farben und schafft so eine lebhafte Atmosphäre. Am besten ihr schaut euch das Video unten selbst an. Die passenden Bilder findet ihr dort auch wie gewohnt. Daneben präsentiert Adidas auch eine neu gestaltete Homepage des SLVR Labels. Another fascinating collection for Spring/Summer 2012 comes from Adidas SLVR. SLVR stands for avant-garde fashion, but still has influences of the Adidas typical sportswear styles. For the latest campaign Willy Vanderperre took inspiration from fencing and translated it into a really impressing video and campaign images. Das Münchner Label Beastin‘ präsentiert uns ihr Spring/Summer 2012 Lookbook und erneut sind wir begeistert was das kleine Label zu bieten hat. Der Style ist eine Mischung aus College und Hip-Hop Einflüssen. Neben den Klamotten sind vor allem auch die Caps echte Highlights. Was die Farben angeht, so ist die Kollektion überwiegend in Blau- und Grautönen gehalten. Kräftige Farben sorgen für die nötigen Akzente und runden das Ganze ab. Das Lookbook ist auf jeden Fall sehenswert und das nicht nur wegen den hübschen Mädels. Überzeugt euch selbst. Die Bilder seht ihr unten. Auch Accessoires hat das Label im Repertoire. This great streetwear hits us directly from one of our neighbors. The Munich based label Beastin’ presents their Spring/Summer 2012 Lookbook and we’re really excited about it. Their style seems to have college and hip-hop influences and is simply great. Beside the clothes the caps are real highlights. Concerning the colors they mainly used shades of blue and grey.
